How Long will my Solid beauty bars last?
Not just a pretty face, our solid bars put in the work, lasting anywhere from 3-6 months with daily use, depending on how much product you apply.
Save your aluminum case and insert your refills as necessary.
What about bacteria growth?
Since you’ll be applying your bar with clean, dry hands, onto clean, dry skin, and you aren’t sharing the bar with others, it stays water-free and fresh for each use. Also, our bars contain Vitamin E, a natural preservative, keeping them bacteria-free.
Where are Ember products made?
All of our solid and liquid skincare is formulated and produced at an elite beauty lab in Quebec, Canada, boasting the highest global beauty manufacturing standards. We also make some products in the USA. We believe strongly in working with experts in their specific field of beauty.
Every single ingredient and final product is tested thoroughly for standard quality, putting only the absolute best product in your hands.

What is the ember wellness ritual?
This is our simple 3-step ritual which we affectionately refer to as ‘the 5-minute natural facelift’. It consists of spritzing on your hydrosol, massaging in your oil and then smoothing on your Serum Bar. Or, if you're short on time, The Serum Bar alone will do wonders.
Which step do I use the bar in my skincare routine?
This depends on what your routine looks like. If you’ve just cleansed, the bar is the final step in your skincare routine, or if you’re looking to apply makeup, the bar is the perfect base.
Think of the bars as your last step in skincare, first step in makeup. As for the hydrosol and facial oils, apply a generous spritzing of hydrosol, then a few drops of facial oil for a decadent 3-ingredient moisturizer that will nourish and plump, especially when applied intentionally, with upward massaging strokes. Follow with The Serum Bar, and the Highlighting Bar, and gently press the moisture into your skin.
For some, it’s the only step they need, as our bars are deeply nourishing, multitasking, and skin-supportive, no matter how you choose to use them.
How do I refill?
This step is what closes the loop, keeping you stocked while simultaneously caring for our planet. There is no unnecessary packaging, as you already have your tin on hand!
Have it washed and dried and add your new bar as soon as you’re ready.
All of our subscriptions ship refills, or you can buy them a la carte.
How do I choose which highlighting shade I need, and what’s the difference between the Highlighting Bars and the Serum Bar?
ALL of our Highlighting Bars work well on every skin tone, offering an array of highlight options depending on your vibe. And don’t stop at your face! Smooth down to the décolleté or over to illuminate the shoulders. Think of Rose Quartz for a light pearlescent shine, Sunstone for a warm, golden glow, or Bronze for a summery shimmer… choose your own adventure!
All Highlighting Bars are made from a base of Shea Butter and get their subtle, buildable radiance from ethically sourced Mica. The Serum Bar is made from a base of Kokum Butter, and contains the natural active ingredients of Vitamin C and Acmella Flower Extract.
Does SPF go before or after the bar?
SPF should always be the last step in your daytime skincare routine. Apply your Serum Bar first, let it melt into your skin for a few minutes, and then follow with your sunscreen. This way, you’ll get the nourishing benefits of the bar while still ensuring sun protection.
If also using The Highlighting Bar, apply after SPF.
Though there is some UV protection in The Highlighting Bars (thanks to titanium dioxide), there is NO sunscreen in the bars, so please apply before or after using the bars.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Our products have a shelf life of at least 12-months from the date of opening.
Expiry dates are listed on the packaging.
How to use the body serum bar?
Similarly to the facial bars, we apply The Body Serum Bar to dry skin, with dry hands, applying the bar in upward strokes and massaging in the product, soaking in all that the bars have to offer and smile at the nourished, glowy results.

Where do your products ship from?
Our Canadian orders ship from our Ember Wellness Headquarters in Toronto, while U.S. orders are shipped from our fulfillment centre in the USA.

Do you have a subscription program?
We do! When you purchase your first starter set, select 'subscribe' to get a deal on your favourites! You’ll receive a refill every 2 or 3 months and can stop your subscription at any time.
